The Help to Buy scheme is coming to an end!
The last date for first-time buyers to submit their application for the Help to Buy: Equity Loan scheme is fast approaching… the deadline is Monday 31st October 2022 (by 6pm). Legal completion must be completed by the 31st March 2023.
The Help to Buy equity loan scheme was first introduced back in 2013 and enabled first time buyers to buy new-build properties with as little as a 5% deposit, with up to 40% of the property’s sale price covered by a Government equity loan. This scheme is only available to first-time buyers, the property must be newly built and under £600,000 (in Greater London).
