A most exciting day in Sidcup today, as M&S Food finally opened their doors this morning after many months of anticipation from locals. There was great fanfare with a live DJ set pumping out tunes for the 200+ shoppers, who had been queuing since early in the morning, all wanting to be the first feet over the threshold!
The grand opening was attended by VIP guests, the Mayor’s car was spotted in the car park, proceedings were also graced with Percy Pig himself, who was very excited to be photographed alongside Purelake’s Managing Director, Barry White and Sales Director, Tracey Wheelan.
We were told that this M&S store has the unusual accolade of having the longest shopping aisles in the country!
If you are in Sidcup or passing through, make sure to stop and sample the delicious fayre on offer! Because as we all know….”This is not just food, this is M&S Food”
